MICHAEL McBRIDE (he/him)
ENSEMBLE BURNER

Mr. McBride was asked to join the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater by Judith Jamison in June of 2009 while finishing his degree at Fordham University (BFA Dance). In his tenure performing with the Ailey Company (2009-2019) Michael performed over 65 ballets, in 15 countries, on 4 continents by choreographers such as Alvin Ailey, Garth Fagan, George Faison, Geoffrey Holder, Bill T. Jones, Jiří Kylián, Wayne McGregor, Ohad Naharin, David Parsons, Paul Taylor, and Twyla Tharp. In 2020 Michael appeared in John Caird’s Estella Scrooge: A Christmas Carol with a Twist playing the character of Mr. Dombey. Michael has performed several times for Broadway Cares Equity Fights AIDS in their annual Dance Festivals and has most recently been seen on stage in Santa Fe Opera’s production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream.
